2008 Democratic Primary Debate Schedule

I had a hard time finding a good reference to the list of upcoming Democratic Presidential debates, so here’s a list:
- November 15, 2007 - in Las Vegas, to be aired on CNN, moderated by Wolf Blitzer.
- December 10, 2007 - in Los Angeles, airing on CBS, moderated by Bob Schieffer and Kate Couric. Update: As of November 28, this debate has been cancelled by the Democratic National Committee, in response to the TV writer’s strike involving CBS. The candidates would potentially have had to cross picket lines to participate. There are no plans to reschedule.
- December 13, 2007 - in Johnson County, Iowa, hosted by the Des Moines Register and Iowa Public Television. Originally scheduled for January 6th but moved up because the Iowa caucuses take place on January 3rd.
- December 17, 2007 - Boston, Massachusetts. Hosted by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum and Library, to air on CNN.
- January 5, 2008 - in Manchester, New Hampshire. Hosted by ABC, WMUR, and Facebook. Moderated by Charles Gibson.
- January 15, 2008 - in Las Vegas, hosted by the Caucus of African-American Nevadans, airing on MSNBC from 9pm - 11pm Eastern time.
- January 21, 2008 - in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus and airing on CNN at 8:00 PM Eastern time.
- January 31, 2008 - in Los Angeles, hosted by the Los Angeles Times and CNN.
In the wake of the Super Tuesday deadlock, two more Democratic debates have been scheduled:
- February 21, 2008 - In Austin, TX, at the University of Texas at Austin. Sponsored by the Texas Democratic Party and Univision, and airing on CNN at 8pm Eastern time.
- February 26, 2008 - in Cleveland, Ohio, at Cleveland State University, airing on MSNBC from 9-10:30 pm EST.
There you go. I’ve also put up a list of the corresponding Republican debates.
