Obama - McCain Presidential Debate Schedule

Barack Obama and John McCain have agreed to three debates for the 2008 Presidential election:
- September 26, at the University of Mississippi, in Oxford. The candidates will answer questions from moderator Jim Lehrer, and the focus will be on foreign policy and national security.
- October 7, at Belmont University in Nashville. It will be a town hall style setting, moderated by Tom Brokaw. Topics will be determined by the audience and viewers will also be able to submit questions via the Internet.
- October 15, at Hofstra University in New York. The topics will be the economy and domestic policy, with questions put to the candidates by moderator Bob Schieffer.
In addition, the two vice presidential candidates will have one debate on October 2, at Washington University in St. Louis.
